Is breast cancer curable stage 1? Stage 1 is highly treatable, however, it does require treatment, typically surgery and often radiation, or a combination of the two. Additionally, you may consider hormone therapy, depending on the type of cancer cells found and your additional risk factors.
What is the survival rate for Stage 1 breast cancer?
Breast cancer-specific survival rates.

Is Grade 1 breast cancer serious? The grade is used to help predict your outcome (prognosis) and to help figure out what treatments might work best. A low grade number (grade 1) usually means the cancer is slower-growing and less likely to spread. A high grade number (grade 3) means a faster-growing cancer that’s more likely to spread.
Does Stage 1 breast cancer require chemo? Chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is not usually offered for stage 1 breast tumours. It may be offered after surgery (called adjuvant therapy) for these tumours if there is a high risk that the cancer will come back (recur).
